I possess a strong skill set in public speaking, having facilitated workshops and mentored students at Fravashi International Academy. With proven problem-solving abilities demonstrated through three Model United Nations experiences and the Innovate4Impact Challenge at LaTrobe University, I also excel in strategic leadership and team management. My financial expertise includes roles such as USG Vice-Finance Head at Model United Nations, where I gained hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting, and financial oversight. Additionally, I have a solid foundation in data analysis, Python programming, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, alongside multilingual fluency in French.

Through participation in diverse competitions and events—including MUNs, investment challenges, debates, group discussions, and sports tournaments—I have developed a wide range of skills. These experiences have enhanced my ability to think critically, work collaboratively, and manage challenges effectively, all of which play a significant role in my everyday life and personal growth.

Experience

Aug 2023 - Aug 2024
Jun 2024 - Jul 2024
Mar 2024 - Jun 2024

MUN - Journey through the secretariat:

My journey from delegate to USG Finance Head was a steady, four-stage progression: Delegate, Organizing Committee Member, USG Vice-Finance Head, and finally, USG Finance Head. Each role allowed me to take on greater responsibilities, putting my skills in accounting, budgeting, collaboration, and communication to the test. These experiences not only strengthened my capabilities but also taught me the value of adaptability and persistence in leadership.

Yale Advanced Pre-College Program:

In June-July 2024, I attended the Yale Advanced Pre-College Program in New Haven, Connecticut, an enriching two-week experience. As part of the Humanities and Social Sciences course, I explored Global Affairs, Business, and Greek Mythology. Role-playing as Olympians made mythology classes engaging, while Global Affairs fostered intense debates on current geopolitical crises. The Business module, featuring startup principles and a venture accelerator program, deepened my entrepreneurial understanding. Connecting with peers from over 10 nationalities, including Brazil, Chile, and Korea, enriched my perspective. Highlights included a multicultural event celebrating diversity and a vibrant talent show, making the program both academically and culturally transformative.

Wolves of Wall Street program:

From mid-July to October 2024, I participated in the 13-week Wolves of Wall Street competition, organized by Harvard Student Agencies. The program featured insightful sessions on financial innovations like blockchain and cryptocurrency, led by Harvard graduates. The investment challenge, conducted on MarketWatch, began with a virtual $100,000. Adopting a passive investment strategy, I focused on large-cap companies and achieved a 22% ROI, securing a top-10 spot among 100+ global participants. This experience honed my skills in financial analysis, teaching me the value of metrics like P/E ratio, P/B ratio, and gearing ratio in making informed decisions.

Igniting the spirit of Entrepreneurship:

For the past two years, I’ve helped my business professor conduct the “Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship” workshops for middle school students at FIA, reaching over 150 participants. These sessions teach business fundamentals—Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Human Resources—while introducing concepts like profit/loss and business planning. The program concludes with a Shark Tank-style investment competition, where I serve as a shark, evaluating pitches and mentoring students on their ideas, products, and valuations. This initiative was born from a shared vision to address the lack of business-related extracurriculars at school and dispel stereotypes about Indians choosing career paths only in medicine or engineering. Guiding students and seeing their entrepreneurial spirit thrive encourages me to give back to my community, by sharing my passion for business. I aim to expand this initiative nationally and internationally, by starting this initiative at college.

Internship as a Data Analyst:

As a Data Analyst Intern at Phoenix Voyages Pvt Ltd, I worked on analyzing over 1,000 records of tickets, visas, and travel packages to provide meaningful insights into sales trends. Using Power BI, I transformed raw data into clear, interactive graphs and reports, making it easier to spot patterns and track performance. By organizing and comparing data year-over-year, I identified key trends that helped the business better understand its sales dynamics. This hands-on experience not only sharpened my analytical skills but also allowed me to deliver actionable recommendations for more informed decision-making.
